How to Apply for AU National BRIDGE Workshop
All EMBs of AU Member States are eligible to request a National BRIDGE training workshop from the DEAU through the following guideline:
- Submit an Official Request in the form of a letter and a proposal to The Director, Department of Political Affairs, African Union Commission, Floor 16, AUC New Building (in hard copy); and through the following email address DemekeT@africa-union.org in electronic copy.
- The proposal should detail:
- Rationale for the request (A brief contextual background)
- The desired BRIDGE Module
- Proposed date
- Target participants, number and category of staff to be trained
- Language of training
- Venue of training
- Expected benefit to the EMB of the training
- Requests should be sent not later than six months in advance.
- DEAU will evaluate all received requests based on set criteria, and successful applicants will be notified in writing to commence preparations for the BRIDGE workshop in consultation with DEAU or its implementing institution.
How to Apply for Short Term Consultants
All EMBs of AU Member States are eligible for this assistance from the DEAU through the following guideline:
1. Submit an Official Request in the form of a letter and a proposal to The Director, Department of Political Affairs, African Union Commission, Floor 16, AUC New Building (in hard copy); and through the following email address DemekeT@africa-union.org in electronic copy.
2. The proposal should detail:
-Rationale for the request (A brief contextual background)
-Expected Benefit to the EMB
-Area of Electoral management in which Consultant is needed
-A detailed TOR to include responsibility, tasks and qualification of consultant
-Proposed date of commencement
-Expected deliverables from the Consultant
3. Requests should be sent not later than six months in advance.
4. Upon a positive evaluation of applications, DEAU will recruit, directly or indirectly, short term consultants as requested, and deploy to the beneficiary EMBs.
